Learn how to crochet this wheat field cardigan.
Fall means sweater right? With the cold seasons approaching we all need to stay warm and cozied up. How about making yourself or your loved one a one of a kind crochet cardigan? Cardigans are my favorite clothing. Maybe because of their versatility and the fact that I can wear them in almost any weather, depending on how light or heavy they are.
Wheat field cardigan is no exemption. It has come to be my best design so far.
Inspiration.
Crochet is my happy place and my pastime hobby when not crocheting is learning new stitches. When I learnt how to crochet the plump posts stitch, I figured out how it would look on a cardigan and the designing process started. I spent several nights working on the pattern stitches and shaping because I wanted it to have a standing collar.
After several attempts, I finally made my mum her bespoke cardigan.
Coveting her cardigan so much, I decided to make mine, which gained a lot of admiration from friends and family.
One thing i love about the wheat field cardigan is that its Unisex and it can be a dad or mom gift.
