Notes
- This pattern is worked in rows and the yarn is changed after every row.
- Each row starts with approximately 10 inches of strand left for the braided tassels, and at the end, another 10 inches is left on the other end.
- The foundation chain is any odd number, so you can customize it in any size {chain less for a shorter scarf or more for a longer one}.
- Repeat the instructions within the asterisks {**}.
- The foundation chain is done with a smaller hook than the rest of the scarf(preferably 1mm smaller). This prevents the foundation row from looking wider.
- The pattern is available in one size but can be modified to suit you.
Measurements
The moss super scarf measures 80” long and 10.5” wide. This again can be customized to suit your preferences.
The tassels are braided and they measure approximately 10” on each side.

I made 43 rows.
At the end of the rows, chain 1 and cut your yarn, at the same length as other ends.
Braiding the tassels.
When your scarf is complete, you have different options for the ends. You can either leave the as they are, add more yarn to make them bulkier or braid as done in this pattern.
To braid them, you will separate them in 3 strands, then interlock the strands to create a braid. at the end, tie a knot . Please refer to the YouTube video if you do not know how to braid.
