If you are looking for your next crochet houndstooth scarf project, then look no further.
This houndstooth scarf pattern works quick and fast with only 4 rows repeat. Unlike the traditional crochet houndstooth pattern where you either cut or carry previous color along in your next row, this knit look houndstooth pattern works without cutting or carrying yarn in the next row. All you have to do is drop previous color then pick it up after working 2 rows of next color. This will carry small floats after every 2 rows.
With basic crochet skills and desire to learn more, this houndstooth scarf will be your next favorite project. You will however need to know how to work with 2 colors in a project.

Materials
Yarn
You will need Light Weight yarn in 2 colors. In the pattern , I used 2 strands of fine/ sock yarn to give the light weight size. When you substitute it with light weight / category 3 yarn, use only 1 strand not 2.
You will need approximately 244 grams of black and 238 grams of white.
Hooks
4.5 mm crochet hook. If you used a different yarn, use the recommended hook size on the yarn label.
